ODS – Offboard Diagnostic System

The IGEMA Offboard Diagnostic System (ODS) was developed as a compact and mobile
diagnostic and testing system for the safety of towed vehicles with pneumatic braking systems.

With the self-sufficient and mobile ODS case, trailer functions can be tested efficiently and independently – without a towing vehicle and in any weather.

Scope of functions of the ODS case:

Execution of TPMS diagnostics in accordance with ECE R141
Testing of the lighting system, including flashing of side marker lights (SML)
Control of the freely assignable pins of the ISO 12098 socket
Reading and logging of all CAN data provided by the trailer control unit
Creation of test reports via the IGEMA ODS app
All functions of the IGEMA ODS system can be conveniently and intuitively controlled and visualized via smartphone or tablet – thanks to the specially developed IGEMA ODS app.
This allows the operator to move freely around the vehicle and perform a visual inspection during analysis – completely independent of the case.

The lightweight yet powerful Li-ion exchangeable batteries make the ODS system fully autonomous and reliably supply the trailer under test with power. No towing vehicle is required for testing.

The IGEMA ODS system is space-savingly housed in a robust, compact outdoor case and can be used in all weather conditions.
